Estogel Gel 80 gm belongs to a group of medicines called oestrogen hormone. It is used after menopause to reduce moderate to severe hot flashes and vaginal symptoms such as dryness, burning, and irritation. It is recommended for only treating your menopausal changes in and around your vagina. Before taking this gel, you can talk with your doctor about whether a topical vaginal product would be better for you. Estogel Gel 80 gm works by replacing the oestrogen, which is normally produced by the ovaries, thereby providing relief from menopausal symptoms.
This medicine is not recommended for use in people suffering from heart problems, bleeding-related problems, liver disease or vaginal bleeding or a history of an allergic reaction to Estogel Gel. Long-term use of Estogel Gel may also increase your risk of breast cancer or blood clot. It is not recommended for pregnant women, in pregnant women, it may increase the risk of uterine cancer.
