Merex 500 mg Injection is used to treat several types of cancer, including breast, head and neck, lung, blood, bone, lymph node, and uterine cancers, either alone or with other medicines. Merex 500 Injection works by blocking the processes of the immune system that cause inflammation in joint tissue. It reduces pain and inflammation and delays joint damage and progression. Merex 500 mg Injection also helps treat cancer by preventing and stopping cancer cells from growing. Merex 500 mg Injection is used to treat psoriasis by suppressing the overactive immune system that is responsible for the development of psoriasis.

Common side effects are sickness, vomiting, anorexia, abdominal pain, fatigue, mouth sores and low white blood cell counts. Your doctor or health care professional may advise you to take folic acid to help reduce some of these symptoms. If these symptoms do not go away or if they get worse, you should tell your doctor. There may be ways to have these effects or have a reduction in these effects. This is a very strong medicine and some people can get very serious side effects from this medicine while they are taking it. This Merex 500 mg can lower your ability to fight infections. Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia: Merex 500 mg Injection is indicated for treating adult and paediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) as part of combination chemotherapy.

Meningeal Leukemia: Prophylaxis and Treatment: Merex 500 Injection is indicated for the prevention and treatment of meningeal leukaemia in adult and pediatric patients.

Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma: Merex 500 mg Injection is indicated for the treatment of adults and pediatric patients with non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Osteosarcoma: Merex 500 mg is indicated for the treatment of adults and pediatric patients with osteosarcoma as part of a combination chemotherapy regimen.

Breast Cancer: Merex 500 mg Injection is indicated for the treatment of adults with breast cancer as part of a combination chemotherapy regimen.

Squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck: Merex 500 mg Injection is indicated as monotherapy for treating adults with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.

Gestational Trophoblastic Neoplasia: Merex 500 Injection is indicated for the treatment of adults with gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN) as part of a combination chemotherapy regimen.

Rheumatoid Arthritis: Merex 500 mg Injection is indicated for treating adults with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

Polyarticular Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis: Merex 500 mg is indicated for the treatment of pediatric patients with polyarticular Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JPA).

Psoriasis: Merex 500 mg Injection is indicated for the treatment of adults with severe psoriasis.
