Abretone 250 mg Tablet is a medication used together with steroid medicine prednisone or methylprednisolone to treat prostate cancer. Abretone 250 mg Tablet is usually used in adult men whose prostate cancer has spread to other parts of the body and who have not responded to other forms of treatment, such as chemotherapy. Abretone 250 mg stops your body from making testosterone, which can slow the growth of prostate cancer. It is important to note that Abretone 250 mg Tablet is not a cure for prostate cancer, it can be managed and the progression of the disease can be slowed.

It is not safe for use in women. It is not known if Abretone 250 mg Tablet is safe and effective in females or children.

How to Use Abretone 250 mg Tablet?

Abretone 250 mg Tablet taken by mouth once a day on an empty stomach. Do not eat food 2 hours before and 1 hour after taking Abretone 250 mg. Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or open the tablet. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the regular time. Do not take two doses simultaneously to make up for a missed dose.
