Introduction of Anzavir-R Tablet

Anzavir-R Tablet is a combination of two antiretroviral medicines containing Atanazavir and Ritonavir. Anzavir-R is used to treat Human Immunodeficiency Virus  (HIV) infection in adults and pediatric patients at least 6 years of age and weighing 35 kg. Anzavir-R Tablet helps control HIV Infection and prevent the development of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).

Anzavir-R does not completely cure HIV Infection. Anzavir-R Tablet will reduce the progression of a chronic potentially life-threatening condition known as acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) and other HIV-related conditions. Anzavir-R will work by stopping the virus from multiplying in the body. 

Anzavir-R Tablet may not be suitable for every patient. Anzavir-R Tablet is not recommended for patients weighing less than 35 kg. If you have any skin-related problems, liver disease, kidney disease, heart problems, high blood pressure, or diabetes, or if you are overweight any other health-related problems please consult your doctor before the treatment.

Before taking Anzavir-R Tablet talk to your doctor about the potential risks and benefits of taking this medication, as well as any other questions or concerns you may have and also important to let your doctor you have any pre-existing diseases or using any medications, vitamins supplements, herbal medicine you are taking.

Anzavir-R should be taken with or without food daily once. Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection (HIV): Anzavir-R Tablet medicine is used in the treatment of human immunodeficiency (HIV) virus infection that attacks and weakens the immune system. It is spread through contact with certain bodily fluids, such as blood, semen, vaginal fluids, and breast milk, from an infected person.

The main benefit of taking Anzavir-R Tablet helps to reduce the amount of HIV virus in the blood (viral load) and improve immune function and also helps to reduce the progression of HIV infection and reduce the risk of developing complications, such as AIDS.

How to Use Anzavir-R Tablet?

Anzavir-R Tablet  should be taken with a full glass of water. You may take it with or without food.

Anzavir-R  should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take more or less of the medication than directed. If you miss a dose of Anzavir-R take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose at the regular time. Do not take two doses at the same time to make up for a missed dose.

Anzavir-R Tablet  If you have trouble swallowing tablets, you can crush the Anzavir-R  and mix them with a small amount of food or liquid.


How Anzavir-R Tablet Works?

Anzavir-R Tablet is a combination of two antiretroviral medicines containing Atanazavir and Ritonavir. Both are protease inhibitors Atanazavir works by blocking the action of protease enzyme, as needed by the HIV virus to replicate and spread in the body.
