Comcapsy 400 mg/20 mg Tablet is a combination of anticancer medicine containing Capecitabine and Cyclophosphamide are active ingredients. Comcapsy 400 mg/20 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of metastatic breast cancer in patients who did not respond adequately to other anticancer medicines, (breast cancer that has spread beyond the breast and nearby lymph nodes to other parts of the body, such as the bones, liver, or lungs.). It is important to note that while metastatic breast cancer cannot be cured, it can be managed and the progression of the disease can be slowed.
Comcapsy 400 mg/20 mg Tablet is not recommended for use in children and adolescents less than 18 years of age, because safety and efficacy have not been clinically established.
Comcapsy 400 mg/20 mg Tablet may cause some common side effects like hair loss, joint pain, dizziness, fatigue, headache, cough, weight loss, neutropenia (decreased white blood cell count), etc. It is important to report any side effects to your doctor.
