Daruvir 800 mg Tablet is an antiviral medicine. Daruvir 800 mg Tablet is used alone or in combination with other antiviral medicines to treat human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1) infection in adult and pediatric patients 3 years of age and older. Daruvir 800 mg Tablet helps to prevent the virus from replicating and spreading within the body.
Daruvir 800 mg Tablet may cause some common adverse effects such as vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain or distension, dyspepsia, flatulence, headache, tiredness, dizziness, drowsiness, numbness, tingling or pain in hands or feet, loss of strength, difficulty falling asleep. It may also cause rare but serious effects like severe rash, which may be accompanied by fever, fatigue, swelling of the face or lymph glands, an increase of eosinophils (type of white blood cells), and effects on liver, kidney or lung.
