Eylea 40 mg Injection binds vascular endothelial growth factor- A ( VEGF-A), VEGF-B and PIGF (Placental growth factor) as Eylea 40 mg Injection is a soluble decoy receptor. VEGF doesn't bind to the original receptor, and by mistake, it binds with Eylea 40 mg Injection and that is how it reduces VEGF's activity. It is used to treat WMD ( Wet macular degeneration) and metastatic colorectal cancer. Chemical formula of Eylea 40 mg Injection is C318H6788N1164O1304S32. It is known as a VEGF inhibitor (Vascular endothelial growth factor). -Eylea 40 mg Injection is used in WMD ( wet macular degeneration). It is an ongoing disease of the eye in which the patient can't see straight ahead and may make it too difficult to drive, read, and hence have to face such issues in other daily routine activities. -It is also indicated when retinal vein occluded and macular oedema developed. -Eylea 40 mg Injection is used to treat diabetic retinopathy.
