Introduction of Eylea 40 mg Injection

Eylea 40 mg Injection is belonging to a class of drugs known as vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) inhibitors. Eylea 40 mg Injection is used in the treatment of certain eye conditions. Eylea 40 mg Injection is primarily used in the form of an injection into the eye to treat macular oedema (abnormal blister of fluid in the layers of the macula), diabetic retinopathy (Diabetic retinopathy is an eye condition that can cause vision loss and blindness in people who have diabetes), and wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Eylea 40 mg Injection works by keeping new blood vessels from forming under the retina (a sensory membrane that lines the inside of the eye).

Some of the common side effects of Eylea 40 mg Injection include decreased vision, bloodshot eyes caused by bleeding from small blood vessels in the outer layer of the eye, eye pain, increased eye pressure, bleeding (vitreous haemorrhage), damage to the front of the eyeball, and retinal degeneration. You may experience these symptoms after an injection procedure or taking medication. There is no need to worry, you might not experience any of these symptoms. Consult your doctor if you suspect any side effects.

Eylea 40 mg Injection is not recommended for use in individuals allergic to Eylea 40 mg, or any of components. Eylea 40 mg Injection is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding and effective contraception should be used by both males and females during treatment to prevent pregnancy.

Eylea 40 mg Injection is given as an injection into your eye. Your doctor will use a medicine to numb your eye before giving you the injection. You will receive this Eylea 40 mg in a hospital or other clinic setting. After taking this Eylea 40 mg Injection, your doctor will be checked your eyes sometimes. Get any emergency medical help if you have any signs of an allergic reaction, hives, difficult breathing, or swelling of your eyes, face, lips, tongue, or throat.
