Fluvir 75 mg Capsule is an antiviral medicine that is used to treat infections caused by viruses. Fluvir 75 mg is used in the treatment of the infection caused by the flu virus (influenza A and influenza B) as well as, swine flu (H1N1 virus) and H3N2 Influenza Virus. This medicine effectively reduces the flu symptoms like weakness, headache, fever, cough, runny or stuffy nose, and sore throat. This medicine is not recommended for use in less than 1 year of age and it is not used for the treatment of a common cold.

The common side effects include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and diarrhoea. These side effects mostly occur after the first dose of the medicine and will usually stop as treatment continues. In children sudden confusion, delirium, hallucinations, unusual behaviour, or self-injury.
