Glenstime PEG 6 mg PFS is a prescription medicine for the prevention of infection after cancer treatment. It works by helping your body make more white blood cells, which help protect you from getting infected. It may also be used to help people who have been exposed to high doses of radiation to help them recover. The safety and effectiveness in children have not been established.

Glenstime PEG 6 mg PFS may cause some common adverse reactions including headache, nausea, bone and musculoskeletal pain, hypersensitivity type reactions including rash, urticaria, angioedema, difficulty breathing, erythema, flushing, and hypotension that occurred during initial or subsequent treatment with Glenstime PEG 6 mg. Tell your doctor if you get a lump, swelling or bruising that does not go away. This medicine may not protect you from all types of infection. Tell your doctor if you develop fever, chills, shortness of breath, sore throat, or swelling of the face or neck.

Before using this Glenstime PEG Injection, tell your doctor if you have or have ever had liver disease, fever or infection, kidney problems, heart problems, or a family history of kidney disease before starting treatment with this injection. You should not take this injection if you are allergic to or to any of the other ingredients in this injection. Report any symptoms of left upper abdomen pain, shoulder pain, or difficulty breathing to your doctor immediately. The most common side effects of Glenstime PEG 6 mg Injection are bone, arm and leg pain.

Glenstime PEG 6 mg PFS may also have interactions with other medicines. Give your doctor or health care professional a list of all the medicines, herbs, non-prescription drugs, or nutritional supplements you are using. Also, tell him or her if you smoke, drink alcohol, or use illegal drugs. Some of these may interact with the medicine you are taking. Glenstime PEG 6 mg PFS is not recommended for use by pregnant or breastfeeding women. To avoid pregnancy, both men and women need to use effective birth control during treatment.
