Instgra Tablet 30N is an antiviral medicine used in the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infections. Instgra Tablet is for use in adults and children as young as 4 weeks old and weighing at least 6 pounds (3 kilograms). Instgra Tablet 30N prevents the virus from multiplying in the body. Instgra Tablet 30N is used together with other antiviral medicines to treat HIV, the virus that can cause acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).
Instgra Tablet 30N prevents the virus from multiplying, but does not cure HIV. Do not have unprotected sex or share razors or toothbrushes. Ask your doctor how to prevent HIV transmission during sex. Sharing drugs or medicine needles is never safe.
Instgra Tablet 30N may cause some adverse effects such as headache, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), dizziness, diarrhea, nausea, and fatigue. These are usually not serious but tell your doctor if they bother you or persist for a longer duration. Some people may experience a skin reaction or liver damage. Your doctor will closely monitor you for these in the initial period of treatment.
Instgra Tablet 30N should be used with caution in patients with drug-induced hepatitis (acute hepatitis, cytolytic hepatitis), skin disorders such as Steven Johns syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, blood-related disorders, etc. Monitor liver function before and during therapy, especially in patients with underlying chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, or in patients who have pre-treatment elevations of transaminases. Before taking Instgra Tablet 30N, you should tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver problems. Inform your doctor before taking this drug if you are an elderly patient, of, or above 65 years of age, if you have a history of liver disease including hepatitis B or C, or have haemophilia, or if you are allergic to sulfa drugs.
Instgra Tablet 30N can be taken with or without food. Do not crush or chew a dispersible tablet whole. Swallow the tablet whole, or place it in a small amount of water. Allow the tablet to disperse (it will not dissolve completely). Stir and give the mixture to the child right away. The amount of water needed will depend on the number of tablets needed for your child's dose. Follow the instructions provided with your medicine. You should take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you to remember to take it. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better. If you stop taking this medicine too early then infection may return or worsen
