Introduction of Invista 50 mg Tablet

Invista 50 mg Tablet is an anti-cancer medicine containing Dasatinib as an active ingredient. Invista 50 mg Tablet is used to treat certain types of cancer. Especially Invista 50 mg Tablet is used to treat chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML),(a type of blood cancer that affects the production of white blood cells.) and also used to treat acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL),( a type of cancer that affects the production of white blood cells in the bone marrow. Invista 50 mg Tablet belongs to a class of drugs called tyrosine kinase inhibitors, which work by blocking the action of certain proteins that promote the growth and spread of cancer cells.

Invista 50 mg Tablet may cause some adverse effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, fatigue, muscle and joint pain, and swelling in the hands and feet. More serious side effects, such as bleeding or blood clotting problems, can also occur. Your doctor might check your blood pressure regularly. It is advised to avoid antacid intake within 2 hours of taking this medicine. Invista 50 mg Tablet may reduce the number of blood cells in your blood, thereby, increasing the susceptibility to infections. Regular blood tests are required to check your blood cells. It is important to talk to your doctor about the potential risks and benefits of taking Invista 50 mg.

Before using Invista 50 mg Tablet, inform your doctor if you have any pre-existing disease such as liver or kidney, weakened immune system, bleeding or blood clot problems, heart disease or low potassium and magnesium levels in the blood, and lung disease or any other medical complications. Additionally inform your doctor if you are using any prescription or non-prescription medicines, herbal, vitamins or any other medicines are using please make inform your doctor before taking this Invista 50 mg Tablet. Invista 50 mg Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. You must avoid driving if you experience dizziness or blurred vision during treatment.

Invista 50 mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. It is best to take the same time every day to get the most benefits. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it. This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. You should take it exactly as your doctor has advised. Taking it the wrong way or taking too much can cause very serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.

Invista 50 mg Tablet is not recommended for use in children and adolescents less than 18 years of age, because safety and efficacy have not been clinically established.

Chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML): Invista 50 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML), is a type of cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow, characterized by symptoms that may include fatigue, weakness, night sweats, weight loss, bone pain, and an enlarged spleen.

Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL): Invista 50 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL), a type of cancer that affects white blood cells. It is fast growing cancer that starts in the bone marrow, characterized by symptoms that may include fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, easy bruising or bleeding, and frequent infections.


Benefits of Invista 50 mg Tablet

Invista 50 mg Tablet is effective and has a high rate of response in people with Chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) and Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. It decreases the number of cancer cells in the blood and bone marrow and improves blood counts in people with CML or ALL.

Do not take two doses at the same time to make up for a missed dose.
