Introduction of Piptashil 125 mg /80 mg Capsule

Piptashil 125 mg /80 mg Capsule is an neurokinin-1 antagonist class of medicine. Piptashil 125 mg /80 mg Capsule is used in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age in combination with other medicines to prevent nausea and vomiting from drugs used in chemotherapy (cancer treatment) and drugs that strongly and moderately cause nausea and vomiting (such as cisplatin, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin or epirubicin).

Piptashil 125 mg /80 mg Capsule is not recommended for patients who are allergic to any ingredient in Piptashil Capsule. Concomitant use of Piptashil 125 mg /80 mg Capsule with pimozide, terfenadine, astemizole, or cisapride is not recommended. Piptashil Capsule can increase plasma concentrations of these drugs and cause potentially serious or life-threatening reactions. Consult your physician before using Piptashil 125 mg /80 mg Capsule.

Piptashil 125 mg /80 mg Capsule may experience some side effects including decreased appetite, indigestion, fatigue, increased ALT, anaemia, febrile neutropenia, anxiety, dizziness, drowsiness, hot flashes, nausea, gastroesophageal reflux disease, vomiting, abdominal pain, dry mouth, bloating, bloating, rashes, acne. These side effects are usually mild and go away on their own, but be sure to tell your doctor if you notice them or if they last longer than a few days.
