Introduction of Vesimycin 10 mg Injection

Vesimycin 10 mg Injection is used to treat certain cancers of the pancreas, breast, lung and stomach. It may be used alone or with other medicines as part of a combination chemotherapy regimen. It works by stopping the growth of cancer cells, which are then destroyed.

Vesimycin 10 mg can cause some common side effects, including anaemia (low red blood cell count), low white blood cell count, increased bleeding, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting. If those trouble you or appear serious, inform your doctor.There may be techniques to reduce or prevent them. Before using Vesimycin 10 mg Injection tell your doctor if you have a poor general health, bone marrow depression, bladder infection, kidney and/or liver disease.

In general, Vesimycin 10 mg Injection is not recommended for use during pregnancy unless clearly necessary. Women of childbearing potential should use birth control during and for at least six months after stopping treatment with Vesimycin 10 Injection. It is also not recommended for use in women who are breastfeeding. Vesimycin Injection is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (under 18 years of age) and should be used cautiously in the elderly (over 65 years of age) after consultation with a doctor.

Vesimycin 10 mg Injection is not recommended for use in patients who are allergic to mitomycin. It is also not recommended for use in patients with pancytopenia (reduction in all types of blood cells), leukopenia (reduction in isolated white blood cells), thrombocytopenia (reduction in the number of platelets), acute infection and/or perforation of the bladder wall.
