Zyceva 150 mg Tablet is an EGFR Inhibitor (epidermal growth factor receptor inhibitor). It specifically targets the tyrosine kinase activity of the EGFR, which may be highly expressed and found to be occasionally mutated in various types of cancer. The inhibitor binds reversibly to the ATP (adenosine triphosphate) binding to receptor sites. To transmit the signal, two molecules of EGFR need to combine together to form a new molecule, called a homodimer. Then by using adenosine triphosphate molecules to trans-phosphorylate one another on tyrosine residues. That create phosphotyrosine residues, phosphotyrosine-binding proteins recruited to the EGFR to reliably assemble protein complexes that cascade transduce signals to the nucleus or it will activate another cellular biochemical process.
