Nintenib 150 mg Capsule belongs to the group of drugs called tyrosine kinase inhibitors and is used to treat idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Nintenib Capsule prevents changes in lung tissue and slows the progression of fibrosis in people with chronic interstitial lung disease. Additionally, Nintenib 150 mg is indicated in combination with docetaxel for treating non-small cell lung cancer of adenocarcinoma type in adults who have received first-line chemotherapy.
Nintenib 150 mg may cause common adverse effects like diarrhoea, nausea, stomach pain, vomiting, liver issues, decreased appetite, headache, weight loss, and high blood pressure. If you experience any of these symptoms, it's important to inform your doctor.
Before using Nintenib 150 mg Capsule, inform your doctor of any heart disease, liver problems, history of blood clots or bleeding disorders, and recent abdominal surgery. Also, inform your healthcare provider of all medications you're taking as Nintenib 150 mg Capsule may interact with them.
Nintenib Capsule is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding and both males and females must use effective contraception during treatment to avoid pregnancy as it can cause harm to an unborn baby and lead to birth defects or death.
Nintenib Capsule should be taken orally, ideally with food, and should be swallowed whole with water without being chewed or crushed. If a dose is missed, it should be taken at the next scheduled time and at the recommended dose. Do not take an extra dose if a dose is missed.
Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis: Nintenib 150 mg Capsule is used to treat Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), a chronic lung disease that involves thickening and scarring of lung tissue causing difficulty breathing.
Non-small cell lung cancer: Nintenib 150 Capsule is used in the treatment of Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), which can occur in any part of the lung and can spread to other parts of the body. Symptoms of non-small cell lung cancer include coughing, chest pain, shortness of breath, and weight loss.
Nintenib Capsule is a drug used for treating Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). Nintenib 150 mg Capsule can slow the progression of IPF and enhance breathing. Additionally, Nintenib is combined with docetaxel for the treatment of Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) to slow down cancer cell growth. Nintenib 150 Capsule may also help to decrease the rate of decline in lung function in patients with systemic sclerosis-associated interstitial lung disease.
Like all medications, Nintenib 150 mg Capsule can cause side effects but do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them.

It is generally not recommended to drink alcohol while taking Nintenib 150 mg. It may increase the risk of liver damage. it is best to avoid alcohol or limit your alcohol consumption while taking any medication.

However, if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, it is important to talk to your doctor about the potential risks and benefits of taking Nintenib 150 Capsule during pregnancy. It is not recommended to breastfeed while taking Nintenib 150 mg. Nintenib Capsule may pass into breast milk and harm the infant. If you are breastfeeding and taking Nintenib, it is important to talk to your doctor about the possible risks and benefits of continuing to breastfeed. Your doctor will be able to help you make the best decision for you and your baby's health.
Nintenib Capsule may cause dizziness, fatigue, and difficulty concentrating and coordinating, which may affect your ability to drive a vehicle safely. It is important to follow your doctor's instructions and take necessary precautions such as avoiding driving a vehicle or operating heavy machinery if you suffer from the side effects of this Nintenib 150 mg.
Nintenib should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. It is important that patients with liver disease closely monitor liver function while taking Nintenib 150 Capsule and report any unusual symptoms or changes in liver function to their doctor. The dose of Nintenib 150 mg may need to be adjusted in patients with liver disease.
