Introduction of Remicade Injection

Remicade Injection belongs to the class of medications called tumour necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) inhibitors. Remicade Injection is used in the treatment of different types of inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis (inflammatory disease of the joints), ankylosing spondylitis (inflammatory diseases of the spine), and psoriatic arthritis (a condition that causes joint pain and swelling and scales on the skin). It is likewise used to deal with ulcerative colitis (a situation that causes swelling and sores inside the lining of the large intestine) and Crohn's disease (inflammatory diseases of the bowel) in adults and children aged 6 years and older.

The common side effects of the Remicade Injection, are stuffy nose, sinus pain, fever, chills, sore throat, cough, chest pain, shortness of breath, high or low blood pressure, headache, feeling light-headedness, rash, itching or stomach pain.  These side effects may be temporary and, usually, go away independently. However, if they persist or worsen, consult your doctor, and; it may cause serious side effects such as fever, extreme tiredness, flu symptoms, cough, or skin symptoms (pain, warmth, or redness).  It is very important to contact your doctor if you experience any serious symptoms. Remicade Injection may also cause drowsiness and dizziness, so it is important to avoid activities that require alertness, such as driving or operating heavy machinery.

Remicade Injection should not be used if you have any preexisting disease such as active tuberculosis (TB), serious infections such as sepsis, or opportunistic infections and have any liver problems, heart problems, diabetes, cancer, seizures, weak immune system, COPD, or if you have any operations or dental procedures, vaccinations before taking this  Avoid live vaccinations while being treated with Remicade Injection. Also, inform your doctor about any other medications you are taking, as they may interact with Remicade Injection. You may need blood tests before starting treatment with this Remicade Injection.

Remicade Injection should not be taken during pregnancy, while planning to become pregnant, or while breastfeeding as it can cause birth defects and abortion. Use effective transport control at some unspecified time in the future of the treatment and for at least 6 months after the very last dose.

Ankylosing Spondylitis: Remicade Injection is used to treat ankylosing spondylitis is a type of chronic inflammatory arthritis That completely affects the spine, sacroiliac joints (a few of the spine and pelvis), and unique peripheral joints. Symptoms may include low back pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility.
