Scapho 150 mg Injection is used to improve the symptoms of some types of autoimmune conditions such as ankylosing spondylitis, chronic plaque psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis and enthesitis-related arthritis. Scapho 150 mg Injection is an immunosuppressant medicine that reduces the effects of a chemical substance in the body that can cause inflammation. This medicine works by blocking the activity of a protein called IL-17A. By blocking the protein's activity it reduces inflammation, pain, swelling and skin symptoms, etc.

This medicine may cause some common adverse side effects such as injection site reactions swelling, redness, pain, upper respiratory infections, cold symptoms, and diarrhoea, If you experience any of these side effects or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. This medicine sometimes causes serious side effects such as swelling of your face, eyelids, lips, mouth, tongue, or throat, feeling faint, chest tightness, trouble breathing or throat tightness, hives (red, itchy bumps), and skin rash. If you experience any of the following symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, you should seek emergency medical help immediately.

Uses of Scapho 150 mg Injection

Plaque Psoriasis: Scapho 150 mg Injection is used in the treatment of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis in adult patients who are candidates for systemic therapy or phototherapy. The symptoms of plaque psoriasis such as red, and scaly patches on the skin.

Psoriatic Arthritis: Scapho 150 mg Injection is used in the treatment of adult patients with active psoriatic arthritis when the response to previous disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drug (DMARD) therapy has been inadequate. The symptoms of psoriatic arthritis include joint pain, stiffness, and swelling, as well as skin symptoms.

Active Ankylosing Spondylitis: Scapho 150 mg Injection is used for the treatment of adult patients with active ankylosing spondylitis. Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a chronic autoimmune disorder that primarily affects the spine and other joints.
