Typbar-PFS Vaccine is administered by a healthcare professional or nurse in a hospital or clinic setting. Use of this Typbar-PFS Injection administered by recommended route of administration intramuscularly and should not be administered intravenously, intradermally or subcutaneously. The specific dosing and administration of Typbar-PFS Injection will depend on the clinical condition of the patient's age and medical history, and other factors. Kindly do not self-administer. Typbar-PFS Injection is generally given at least 2 weeks prior to expected exposure to typhoid fever. A single dose is usually given every 3 years to those people who remain at risk of typhoid fever. Your doctor may also advise on the possible need for future booster dosing.
Typbar-PFS Vaccine should not recommend for use in children below 2 years of age. Typbar PFS is used with caution in patients with thrombocytopenia (Low platelet count) or bleeding disorders.
