Defrijet 250 mg is also indicated for patients aged two to five with transfusion-dependent anaemias who cannot be effectively treated with deferoxamine. Additionally, Defrijet 250 mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of chronic iron overload in patients aged 10 years or older with non-transfusion-dependent thalassemia syndromes.
